Judicial Districts
The Bridgeport Judicial District serves eight towns with about 325,000 residents in the southeastern part of Connecticut. The State's Attorney's office is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal offenses which occur in the Judicial District, which includes the communities of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
The Stamford/Norwalk Judicial District serves eight municipalities with about 380,000 residents in the southern part of Connecticut. The State's Attorney's office is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal offenses which occur in the Judicial District, which includes the communities of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
