Annual Data Certification Reminder

Clarification to July 25, 2023 email.

Note: This certification requirement is for Connecticut domestic carriers only.

Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Andrew N. Mais issued a formal notice dated April 20, 2022 to all domestic carriers licensed by the Department that their use of technology and Big Data must be in full compliance with Federal and State anti-discrimination laws, and that they are required to submit an annual data certification on a yearly basis, starting from September 1, 2022.

This notice serves as a reminder to all domestic carriers licensed by the Department that the data certification is due on or before September 1st. The annual certification form can be accessed here https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/CID/1_Notices/Technologie-and-Big-Data-Use-Notice.pdf
