Tropical Orchid Production at Geremia Greenhouse
Geremia Greenhouse is a family owned and operated wholesale greenhouse facility in Wallingford, CT. Over the years, the business has grown to encompass 10 acres and is proud to be one of the most modern and environmentally friendly greenhouses in the Northeast. Current production includes more than 500 varieties of annual plants and seasonal items, such as poinsettias, mums, and tropical orchids.

The Dog Licensing Working Group was established in 2022 pursuant to Public Act 22-54. This working group is established for the purpose of developing a plan to create a state-wide online dog licensing portal. Meetings will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Agricultural Development and Resource Conservation
The Bureau of Agricultural Development & Resource Conservation consists of three subdivisions: the Agricultural Development unit, the Resource (or Farmland) Preservation Unit, and Climate Smart. The bureau directs programs and activities that assist persons in entering, diversifying and expanding their agricultural businesses; compiles statistics regarding all aspects of agriculture in the state; administers the Farmland Preservation Program and the Farmers' Market Nutrition program.
