Farmers' market nutrition program

Farmers' market help make fresh, locally-grown food accessible to those in need through supplemental food programs. The Farmers' market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides funds to eligible CT residents for fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, and more. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are also accepted at many farmers markets across the state.

  • CT Grown tents 
    Make a splash with a CT Grown pop-up tent. Farmers, farmers’ markets, agricultural organizations and non-profits are all eligible to order and display CT Grown tents.
  • Order point of purchase signs 
    Make sure customers know your produce is CT grown! Order point of purchase sheets at no cost and display them with your goods, as required by the program. Find more information in Connecticut General Statutes 22-38.
