Agency alert (displays in the site header)
The agency alert is a message that displays at the top of every page on your website.

NOTE: This alert is activated only for your specific agency site and will not appear on any other agency sites. It only shows on your agency pages.
To access and edit the alert:
- Click Content Editor in Sitecore.
- In the content tree, expand:
Content → [Your Agency Site] → Content modules → Site Header Folder → Site Header (click to select)

- Select the Agency Alert section to configure the alert properties.
- Edit the following fields in the Agency Alert section:
- Enable Agency Alert: Check this box to display the alert at the top of the site.
- AgencyAlertIcon: Choose an icon to appear with the alert.
- Alert Title: Enter the title of your alert.
- Agency Description: Enter the main alert message, including any hyperlinks. (Rich text editor).
- Click the Save icon to apply changes.
- Click the Publish tab in the topline navigation, select Publish Content, then click on Publish.
Visit the site to confirm that the alert displays correctly
Note: When working with the live site, always Publish in Preview first to make sure the text is correct and any hyperlinks are working.
Global alert (displays below header in page body)
The Global Alert behaves like the Agency Alert but appears in the main body of the page.

Steps to set up a Global Alert:
- In the Content Editor, navigate to:
Content modules → Alert Folder → GlobalAlert

- In the Data section (right-hand panel), edit these fields:
- Title: Set the alert's title.
- Short Description: Enter the alert message.
- Link: Add a link if needed (only available in Global Alert).
- Hide Alert: Check this box to hide the alert from displaying.
- Icon: Select an alert icon.
- Click the Save icon to apply your changes.
- Publish the changes:
- First, Publish to Preview to verify the text and link.
- Once confirmed, publish to the live site.
