Sitecore Components

Sitecore components are the building blocks of a page. Each component meets Connecticut’s content, accessibility, and design standards and is tested to work on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Story components

Lead Story component 

Top page element designed to get readers to scroll further down the page

Story Group component 

One lead story with at least three related stories

Feature Content Card component 

Highlight and link to key pages or resources using three or four cards, often with images

List components

Link List component 

Displays links in organized lists with headings. Use it to group related resources, services, or pages.

Link List Group component 

Organizes multiple link lists into larger topic sections. Use it when you have several categories of related links on the same page

Accordion component 

Organizes content into expandable sections that customers can open or close. Use this component to break up long pages or reduce visible text

Tile components

Tile Card component 

An alternative way to display linked content in boxes with headline, teaser, and optional icon

Tile Card List component 

Groups of tile cards organized by categories, presented in a stacked grid of rows

General components

Multistep component 

Grouping of a single topic and description with multiple related links

Image component 

Add images to help explain information or add visual interest to text-heavy pages

Video component 

Embedded video from a streaming sources such as YouTube or Vimeo

Rich Text component 

Add simple text content such as paragraphs, explanations, and instructions.

Non-components

Code snippets 

Custom code solutions that have been developed and thoroughly tested by the UX/UI Design Dept.
