CONNECTICUT INSURANCE DEPARTMENT COMPLETES OFFICE RELOCATION TO
280 TRUMBULL STREET

HARTFORD, CT – The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) has completed its relocation to 280 Trumbull Street in Hartford and, effective September 8, 2026, is fully operational from its new office space. The move follows more than four decades of CID operations at 153 Market Street.

CID’s Consumer Affairs Division is open to the serve the public and provide in-person assistance Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Service of Process, including service by State Marshals and other authorized parties, will continue to be accepted Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the 7th Floor Reception Desk at 280 Trumbull.
