CONNECTICUT INSURANCE DEPARTMENT TO HOLD INFORMATIONAL MEETING
ON HEALTH INSURANCE RATE REQUEST FILINGS
Public Informational Meeting on Health Insurance Rate Request Filings on Monday, August 21, 2023
The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) invites the public to participate in the August 21 informational meeting on the health insurance rate request filings for the 2024 plans, both within and outside of Access Health CT, the state's federal Affordable Care Act exchange.
This public meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person attendance and virtual participation. During this meeting, the public will have an opportunity to testify and comment on the rate filings.
Date: Monday, August 21, 2023
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Hearing Room 1D in the Legislative Office Building (LOB), 300 Capitol Ave, Hartford, Connecticut
- In-Person: Attendees are welcome to participate in person at the LOB and sign-ups for public comment will begin the morning of August 21 in hearing room 1D beginning at 8:30 AM.
- Online: Attendees may also participate virtually through Zoom and can sign up by sending an email to cid.Ratefilings@ct.gov with your name and any attached written comments by Friday, August 18, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
Viewing Options: The meeting proceedings will also be available via live stream on CTN’s website.
To accommodate all participants, each speaker's allotted time will be limited to 3 minutes. The online public comment period commenced on July 9 when the rate filings were posted for public review and will remain open until the Department reaches a decision.
The health insurance rate requests are available for viewing and open to public comment here on the Department’s website.
