  • The registration application and fee must be submitted within 30 days of first operating as a Life Settlement Broker.

Life Settlement Registration does not require a separate renewal. Registration remains active while the underlying Producer license remains active.

Not applicable.

Life Settlement Registration is not a separate line of authority and cannot be amended independently.

If your registration lapses:

  1. Reinstate your Producer license first (if expired).
  2. Submit an amendment application through NIPR to add the Life Settlement Registration back to your license.

Please be reminded that it is your responsibility to keep your contact information current. Failure to receive renewal notices or other important correspondence due to outdated contact information does not excuse you from meeting renewal deadlines or other regulatory requirements. Ensure that your address, phone number, and email are up-to-date to avoid any disruptions in your licensing status.
