REINSTATEMENT

You can renew your license for reinstatement for up to one year after the expiration date. To do this, you need to pay a late fee of $160. Resident insurance producers need to pay the late fee and complete their CE requirements, for a total of $320.

After one year, resident insurance providers need to complete a pre-licensing education course and pass the exam PRIOR to submitting a reinstatement application. To submit the application, go to National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) website. Under Licensing Center, select “Apply for a New License.” The reinstatement fee is $130.00 plus the NIPR transaction fee.
