Information for ConnectiCare Members about its Systems Transition
The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) is sharing information to help ConnectiCare members understand recent changes following ConnectiCare’s transition to the systems of its new parent company, Molina Healthcare. As of January 1, 2026, ConnectiCare’s Marketplace plans, both on and off the Exchange, were integrated into Molina Healthcare’s systems. Legacy systems continue to support Marketplace 2025 runout and 2025 and 2026 employer group coverage.
CID is aware that some consumers have experienced confusion or delays related to portal access, enrollment status, ID cards, provider eligibility, and customer service during the transition. ConnectiCare is working collaboratively with CID to address these issues to ensure members receive the care they need.
Here is what ConnectiCare members should know:
- Coverage for eligible members remains active as of January 1, 2026.
- Members with 2026 Marketplace coverage should use the new member portal at MyConnectiCarePortal.com with their new Member ID number Members with dates of service in 2025 should continue using the prior portal at my.connecticare.com with their 2025 Member ID number.
- Temporary issues affected access to the 2026-member portal and Marketplace enrollment during the transition. Portal access was restored on January 5, 2026, and enrollment files were processed on January 6, 2026, with ongoing updates as records are aligned.
- New ID cards and welcome materials are being mailed. Members who have not yet received them can check the member portal, please check your member portal, find contact details on the ConnectiCare website, or contact Access Health CT for assistance.
- Call wait times were longer in early January due to high call volume and system changes. Call volumes began to decrease on January 9, 2026, and additional staff and system improvements are now in place.
