What to do if you’re hurt at work

If you’ve become hurt or ill at work, the CT Workers’ Compensation Commission (WCC) can help you navigate the workers’ compensation system from filing a claim, the claims process and settlement.

CT WCC wants you to know your rights as an injured or ill worker. Please note: WCC doesn’t and can’t give legal advice.

About WCC's role

How WCC and other agencies help you

CT WCC’s primary job is to resolve disputes. Please note, WCC can’t give legal advice or pay benefits. The WCC doesn’t provide medical treatment. If benefits are delayed or denied, you can request a hearing with a WCC administrative law judge. Check the links below for help and resources for all CT, Federal, and State workers.
