Media Library Ribbon
The Media Library Ribbon at the top of the screen provides you with all the available functionality needed to manage your Media Library items.
NOTE: If you are a System Administrator, you will have access to additional tabs and functions. They are noted below.

HOME tab
The Home tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Edit - Edit the item (image or document file)
- Check In - Check in (Unlock) the item you have edited
- Insert - Upload an image or document file or create a folder to organize items under
- Duplicate - Duplicates the selected item (System Administrators Only)
- Copy to - Copies selected item to another folder area
- Move to - Moves the page or folder to a different location (System Administrators Only)
- Delete - Deletes selected item or all sub items under the selected folder (System Administrators Only)
- Sorting - Sorts the selected item up or down the content tree or moves to first item listed or last item listed
NAVIGATE tab
The Navigate tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Open - Displays a drop down of two tabs
- Most Recent - The last nine items viewed
- Content Tree - All items viewed in the Media Library Content Tree
- Navigate - Navigate to items in the content tree
- Back - Navigates to previous selected item
- Forward - Navigates to the next selected item (Becomes active when you have selected the Back icon first)
- Up - Navigates the parent folder above the selected item
- Subitems - Displays a drop down of all subitems under the selected folder

Home - Navigates to root area of the Media Library

Favorites - Allows you to save favorite items for easy access

Links - Shows all pages that item has been linked to

Search - Launches the search application to search all items in the Media Library
NOTE: When searching the Media Library, you must enter in the EXACT file name of the item you are searching to get results.
REVIEW tab
The Review tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Spelling - Run the spellcheck on all text and HTML fields on the selected item
- Markup - Send all HTML fields to the W3C HTML Validator
- Validation - View the Validation Results from the W3C HTML Validator
- Subscribe - Subscribe to the RSS feed for the selected item and/or all sub-selected items
- My Items - View all items you have locked to check them in (unlock)
- Check In - Check in (Unlock) the selected item
- Reminder - Create or cancel an email reminder about the selected item
- Archive - Archive the selected item or a version of the selected item immediately or set a date to archive it
PUBLISH tab
The Publish tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Change - Set up publishing settings
- Experience Editor - View the selected item in the Experience Editor (Not always applicable)
- Preview - View the selected item in Preview Mode
- Publishing viewer - View the publishing dates of each version
VERSIONS tab
The Versions tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Reset - Reset Form Fields (Not currently available)
- Versions - View prior versions of the selected item and remove the current version of the item being displayed
- Add - Add a versions of the item
- Compare - Compare two versions of the item
- Language - Modify the current language display
PRESENTATION tab
The Presentation tab displays only for System Administrators. It allows you to:
- Save - Save changes to the page
- Aliases - Create or remove URL aliases (friendly URLs) for the page
VIEW tab
The View tab displays only for System Administrators. It allows you to:
- Save - Save changes to the page
- View - Hide or view different components of the content editor window
- Content tree - Show or hide the content tree in the left pane
- Entire tree - Show or hide the folders and pages outside the "Content" folder
- Hidden items - Show or hide items marked with a hidden attribute
- Standard fields - Show or hide items from the standard template (system fields)
- Raw values - Show field values as input boxes or raw values
- Buckets - Show or hide the bucket repository items
MY TOOLBAR tab
The My Toolbar tab allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- Customize - Customize the buttons on this tab for easy access
MEDIA tab
The Media tab displays only for Content Authors. It allows you to:
- Save - Save the item you are editing (Becomes active when an item is selected)
- View - View the selected item full size in a new browser tab
- Edit - Edit the selected item you are viewing in the image Editor (Not Recommended)
- Download - Download the selected item to your computer
- Delpoy - Deploy the Marketing asset (Not currently available)
