Publishing makes your content available either on the live CT.gov site or in a private preview environment for review. Use the publishing options to choose where your content should go.
Note: Only Sitecore admin users can publish content. If you do not see publishing options, contact your Sitecore administrator.

What Publish to Preview means
Publish to Preview sends your page to a private preview environment so you can review how it will look once it is live. Sitecore generates a preview link that anyone can view, even if they are not logged into Sitecore. The link shows the page with full CT.gov styling and components, but it is not public, not searchable, and not indexed. Use Preview when you need someone to review or approve the page before publishing it to the live Portal URL.
- Click Publish.
- When the confirmation window appears, click OK.

A dialog box will appear indicating items are being published. Once complete, it will show the results.
Select Close when done.
Your content is now published - either live or to the preview site, depending on the target you selected.
