The Office of Policy and Management (OPM) created its Evaluation and Impact unit with support from State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). The unit is responsible for coordinating evaluation and evidence-building for investments through federal funding. Working closely with state agencies, subrecipients, applied researchers and evaluators, the Evaluation and Impact unit will help agencies understand the impact of their investments and the opportunity to scale effective programs. This unit will initially provide support and guidance to recipients of funds to understand the evidence behind the investments and then connect recipients to resources to study the impact of their programs.
