Scripted Content

Depending on your project scope, the State also has the option to script over full websites that are not currently built in the new design system. This allows you to engage in your contracted site work with source pages already living on the new State scaffolding.

When migrating content using this scripting process, all scripted content will be moved from the old website to the new website scaffolding as is, along with the navigation structure and page names of the old site.

All content (HTML, embedded code) is moved and styles are updated. Colors and fonts are applied and display properties are updated so the State’s new CT.gov header and footer appear on migrated pages.

Developers should note that if current agency pages contain errors or broken links, those errors will persist in the migrated content.
