Guiderail Safety Improvement Project along Route 83 in Somers

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a guiderail safety improvement project will be performed on Route 83 in Somers, October 27 – November 13, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 83 between the Route 190 intersection and the Mass State Line. Motorists can expect alternating traffic patterns, flaggers and signing patterns to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (weekdays).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
