Public Information Meeting Concerning Proposed Intersection Improvements on Route 10 (Ella T. Grasso Boulevard) at Lamberton Street in New Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will conduct a Public Information Meeting concerning proposed intersection improvements on Route 10 (Ella T. Grasso Boulevard) at Lamberton Street on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Truman School, 114 Truman Street, New Haven, Connecticut.  Representatives from the Department of Transportation will be available at 7:00 p.m. to answer any questions, with a formal presentation beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Residents, commuters, business owners, and other interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about and discuss the proposed work. 
The project is identified as State Project Number 92-640.
The proposed project includes the installation of a new traffic signal, and the installation of a southbound left-turn lane into Lamberton Street.  Minor roadway widening is necessary in order to accommodate the left-turn lane.  
Construction is anticipated during summer of 2013.  The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $850,000.  
The public information meeting is being held to afford a full opportunity for public participation and to allow open discussion of any views and comments the community may have concerning this project. 
The meeting facility is ADA accessible.  Language assistance may be requested by contacting the Department of Transportation’s Office of Communications (voice only) at (860) 594-3062 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Language assistance is provided at no cost to the public, and efforts will be made to respond to requests for assistance.
Plans will be available for public review.  Department personnel will be available during the meeting to discuss this project.  More detailed information is available at the Department’s Office of Engineering, 2800 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, Connecticut, during office hours, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
