I-84 (eastbound and westbound) Resurfacing Project in Danbury Extended to October 26, 2009

The State Department of Transportation is announcing that the ongoing resurfacing project on I-84 (eastbound and westbound) from the New York State Line to just west of Route 6 in Danbury has been extended and will continue to Monday, October 26, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that further modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
