NEWINGTON, Conn.-Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that Pot Hole Patching operation will be performed on I-84 (eastbound and westbound) between Exits 68 and 71, in Willington & Tolland.  This project is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 (eastbound) & Thursday,

May 29, 2008 (westbound).

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for the project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday & Thursday). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
