NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that the ongoing Milling and Resurfacing project being performed on I-91 (north & south) from the Meriden Town Line to the Route 372 (Berlin Road) overpass in Meriden/Middletown/Cromwell will continue through Thursday, October 16, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday – Friday evenings). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
