[ Complaints Against Connecticut Banks ]

While the Department of Banking is committed to assisting consumers with questions or complaints, we do not supervise federally chartered institutions. If your issue involves a national bank, federal savings bank or federal savings and loan association, you may need to contact a federal government agency listed below.  Refer to our banks in Connecticut page to determine the primary regulator for a particular institution.

Similarly, the department does not supervise federally chartered credit unions. If your issue involves a federal credit union, you may need to contact the National Credit Union Administration.  Refer to our credit unions in Connecticut page to determine the primary regulator for a particular credit union.
