If you are a victim of a violent crime that is being prosecuted in the Danbury Judicial District, you should contact the Victim Advocate in the courthouse at (203) 207-8672.

If you are a victim of a sexual assault, the Center for Empowerment and Education's Sexual Assault Hotline is 203-731-5204.
If you are a victim seeking restitution, contact the State's Attorney's Office at (203) 207-8670 or by email at conndcj@ct.gov. Please include the defendant's name and docket number of the case, a description of your loss and any receipts and/or estimates for medical treatment and/or property damage, destruction or theft. Note that the criminal court will only order restitution of out-of-pocket expenses or things that were not covered by insurance.
