The board will recommend to the Department of Consumer Protection any additional medical conditions, medical treatments, or diseases to be added to the list of medical conditions that qualify for the palliative use of marijuana.

Who is eligible to use medical marijuana?
To qualify, a patient needs to be diagnosed by a Connecticut-licensed physician, physician assistant (PA), or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) as having one of the debilitating medical conditions that is specifically identified in the law.

Can I serve as a primary caregiver for more than one patient?
Ordinarily no; the only exception is if you have a parental, guardianship, conservatorship or sibling relationship with each qualifying patient for whom you are registering to be the primary caregiver.
