Adult-Use Cannabis and Medical Marijuana are subject to a number of Connecticut laws, regulations and the Department's Policies and Procedures. While the laws below govern the cultivation, manufacturing, testing, transport and sale of adult-use cannabis and medical marijuana in Connecticut, it is not an exhaustive list, as there are many other laws that address employment, possession and other related topics that may not be included below.

Policies and Procedures

These Policies and Procedures have the full effect of law and are currently in place to allow for the operation of Connecticut’s medical and adult-use cannabis industry, including how cannabis establishments licensed by the Department shall operate. In 2025, these Policies and Procedures will undergo the regulatory review process to become an official part of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.
