U.S. Marine Corporal Jordan C. Pierson, June 22, 1985 – August 25, 2006, was killed in combat in Fallujah, Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was a Marine Corps Reservist and deployed with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division out of Plainville, Connecticut.
His military decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Combat Action Ribbon, and Purple Heart with Gold Star in lieu of second award.
Pierson, 21, is survived by his father, Eric Pierson; mother, Beverly Pierson; brother, Ethan Pierson; and a large extended family.
