Emergency Meal Programs: The State Department of Education is authorizing two distinct categories of COVID-19 Emergency Meal Programs in accordance with federal requirements: 1) COVID-19 Emergency Meal Program Limited to Students Attending School in Specific Districts. School districts on this list are only authorized to serve meals to students attending their schools, and any other child age 18 years or younger residing in the same household; 2) COVID-19 Community-wide Emergency Meal Program for Children. Any child age 18 years or younger can receive meal(s) at any meal service and distribution sites in these towns/cities. They do not have to be a resident or attend school in these towns/cities. Coaching Permit First Time Issuance

Overview

The steps and approximate timeline for the initial application for a coaching permit process are listed below.

Step 1

Register and complete the required coaching course, the Module 15 Concussion Course, and Standard First Aid and CPR Courses.

Step 2

Complete online application or paper-based form: ED185. In addition, you are required to mail all documentation listed in step 1, as well as a copy your high school diploma or a copy of your college degree. Please note: an official high school or college transcript with the graduation date listed, can be accepted as well.

Step 3

Mail required documents and the ED 185 application to the CSDE. Important Note: Emailed or faxed paper-based applications and forms with signatures cannot be accepted.

Timeline

Standard processing of coaching application is 6-8 weeks from the original date of submission.
