The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended for use throughout the 2024 holiday season to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.

Select this route if you were a certified nurse's aide in Connecticut but your certification has lapsed and you are not eligible for renewal. 

You are required to take and pass the Connecticut nurse's aide competency exam.  The exam is administered by Prometric.  

Please complete an online application or a printable application printable application, which is submitted with payment to Prometric.
