Pursuant to Section 19a-519-1 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies:

 

"Business Affiliation" means having a financial, or personal beneficial, interest in or having any type of employment or contractual relationship with the long-term care facility or hospital within the two years immediately preceding the beginning of the residency training.

 

"Familial Affiliation" means having a spouse, child, child's spouse, parent, brother, or sister who is either an officer, director, owner, limited or general partner, or holds more than 5% of outstanding stock in a facility.
