What does the State Poet Laureate grant program require?
Grant Requirements
The State Poet Laureate enters into an agreement with the State of Connecticut for each year of the three-year term and is required to:
- Supply proof of current Connecticut residency status.
- Submit W9 and state vendor forms.
- Sign a contract confirming compliance with program eligibility.
- Credit the COA when appropriate in print, audio, video, and publicity materials (press releases, brochures, advertisements, etc.).
- Comply with the Connecticut Office of the Arts Grant Guidelines.
- Submit a final report at the end of the three-year term. Annual reports may also be required.
