Health Insurance Rate Request Filings for 2022
Public Informational Meeting – Virtual Only.
The public informational meeting on the 2022 Health Rate Filings will be held in a fully virtual online format this year as we did last year, due to public health concerns over the Pandemic, and an abundance of caution over social distancing.
The meeting can be viewed online, or by dialing into a telephone conference call. See the meeting details below, and additional information on submitting questions and signing up to testify online, or by telephone.
The Connecticut Insurance Department seeks public comment for an informational public meeting on the rate proposals filed by Aetna/CVS Health, Anthem Health Plans, ConnectiCare Benefits Inc., Cigna Health and Life, Harvard Pilgrim and United Healthcare/Oxford for the 2022 plan year.
Rate request filing information is available on the department website.
The public will have an opportunity to submit questions and/or provide comments specific to the rate filings. Anyone wishing to testify can sign up by sending an email to cid.RateFIlings@ct.gov with your name and testimony attached no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021. Testimony is limited to 3 minutes per person. Due to the number of filings and amount of material to be covered at the meeting, the Department may not get to every question from the public.
Meeting Date: Tuesday, August 31, 2021
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Viewing: This is an online virtual public informational meeting and telephone conference call only.
