'INSURING THE FUTURE' EVENT MERGER ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2024

HARTFORD, CT (June 26, 2024) – The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) and Connecticut Insurance & Financial Services (CT IFS) are excited to announce the merger of their annual events into a groundbreaking full-day program: “Insuring the Future.” This collaborative event will take place on September 10, 2024, at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT, running from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a comprehensive program followed by a reception.

Event Description:

The CID and CT IFS are combining their signature events, the Connecticut Conference on Climate Change and Insurance (C4I) and the Insurance Capital Summit (ICS), to address the critical issues of climate risk and innovation in the insurance industry. This landmark event will bring together insurance regulators, government leaders, and industry experts to share their insights and strategies.

About Connecticut Conference on Climate Change and Insurance (C4I):

The C4i is an annual event hosted by the CID. C4i invites environmental and climate change experts, insurance industry leaders, government officials, and policymakers from around the world to converge and discuss strategies for combating the climate crisis and improving resilience through insurance-related solutions.
