Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
The Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a voluntary, expedited pathway to licensure for physicians who wish to practice in multiple states.For information on the IMLC, FAQs, informational videos, and how to qualify for licensing through this pathway, please visit IMLC's website.
Effective October 1, 2022, the Connecticut Department of Public Health participates in the IMLC. CT DPH will issue licenses through this pathway but will not be acting as a state of principal license (SPL) until additional legislation is passed.
