Event Calendar Page Overview
The Event Calendar Page Template is a stand-alone page containing detailed information about an event (see Example 1). These event pages can also be displayed in a listing that’s shared throughout your site (see Example 2).

The Event Calendar page is the first thing you will create. This page consists of four main sections to modify:

Access the Event Calendar Page
1. Navigate to the Event Calendar Collection Folder from Content > Agency Name Here > Knowledge Base > Event Calendar Collection Folder from the Content Tree.
Create an Event Calendar Page
1. Right-click on the Event Calendar Folder item.
2. Insert the Event Calendar Page option.
3. Name the Event Calendar Page title.
4. Scroll to the Event Content section in the Content Area. And enter the following fields:
a. Event Host: Enter the name of the entity hosting the event.
b. Event Title: Enter the title of the event.
c. Event Sub Title: Enter a quick description of the event.
d. Event Image: Add an image for the event. Select the Browse link to access the Media Library.
i. The image size should be 900x600px
ii. Ensure an Alternate text is displayed on the image.
iii. Ensure the image has been optimized for quicker load.
iv. To view your Agency folder, select the Content Tree icon (far right), then navigate to your image.
e. Event Description: Enter a description for the event.
f. Event Date: Select the date of the event.
i. Add the date today by selecting the Today link.
ii. Add a date by clicking on the Dropdown menu.
iii. Select the Clear link to remove the date.
g. Event Start Date: Enter the time when the event starts. Be sure to include AM or PM.
h. Event End Date: Enter the time when the event ends. Be sure to include AM or PM.
i. Event Purpose: Enter the purpose of the event. Select the Show editor link to open the Rich Text Editor.
j. Event Type: Select the type of event from the dropdown menu.
i. If an Event Type you want does not display, go to the Event Type Folder and add your event. (See Adding an Event Type)
k. Submitted Date: Select the date of when the event was submitted.
5. Scroll to the Event Location section and edit the following fields:
a. Address 1: Enter the 1st address line of the event.
b. Address 2: Enter the 2nd address line of the event.
c. City: Enter the name of the city that the event is being held in.
d. State: Enter the name of the State that the event is being held in.
e. Zip: Enter the zip code that the event is being held in.
6. Scroll to the Additional Information section and enter the following fields:
a. Agency Division Name: Type in the name of the Agency Division.
b. Event Minutes: Enter information relating to the Minutes for the event. Select the Show editor link to open the Rich Text Editor.
c. Additional Information: Enter any additional information needed for the event. Select the Show editor link to open the Rich Text Editor.
7. Scroll to the Contact Info section and complete the following fields:
a. Contact Name: Enter the name of the individual or entity.
b. Contact Address: Enter the 1st address line of the Contact.
c. Contact Address 2: Enter the 2nd address line of the Contact.
d. Contact Phone: Enter the phone of the Contact.
e. Contact Email: Enter the email of the Contact.
8. Select the Save icon (top left in the Content Editor Ribbon).
9. Preview your page.
10. Publish the page when ready.
Create an Event Type
The Event Type is the dropdown field that shows on the Event Calendar Page. To create a new or modify an existing Event Type, follow these instructions.
1. Navigate to the Event Type Folder under the Knowledge Base.
2. Right-click on the Event Type Folder and choose Insert > KeyValueSetting.
3. Name the Event Type and select OK.
Edit an Event Type
1. Rename the Event Type by clicking on the Rename option within Home tab of the Ribbon or the name of the Event Type within the Content Area.
2. Scroll to the Setting Data section in the Content Area.
3. Name: Enter the name of the Event Type. This will be auto-populated based on the name added for the KeyValueSetting.
4. Value: Enter the name of the Value. This will be auto-populated based on the name added for the KeyValueSetting.
5. Select the Save icon (top left in the Content Editor Ribbon).
6. Publish the item when ready.
