Search Overview

Search bar is automatically displayed on the homepage and hidden on internal pages, but can easily be displayed if needed.

NOTE: This component is set up ONLY on sites using the Agency Scaffolding v2 pages. Existing Agency Scaffolding pages will require manual addition at the template level.

Display the Search Component on an Internal Page

1. Navigate to the page you wish to display the search box on from the Experience Editor.

2. Ensure you are in Edit mode to make change to the page.

3. Select the hidden box below the navigation.

4. Select the ‘Associated Content’ icon from the Search Box Banner toolbar.

5. Select Change Associated Content option from the drop-down.

6. Select the Agency Page Header item.

7. Select OK.

8. Select the Save  icon (top left in the Content Editor Ribbon).

9. Select the Preview mode.

The Search Box will now display on the page.

Hide the Search Component on an Internal Page

1. Navigate to the page you wish to hide the search box on from the Experience Editor.

2. Ensure you are in Edit mode to make change to the page.

3. Select the Search Box component.

4. Select the ‘Display Settings’ icon from the Search Box Banner toolbar.

5. Select Change Associated Content option from the drop-down.

6. Select the Clear link from the Data Source.

7. Select OK.

8. Select the Save  icon (top left in the Content Editor Ribbon).

9. Select the Preview mode.

The Search Box will no longer display on the page.
