Press Release List

Press Release List Overview

A Press Releases List is multiple press release pages displayed together in a single component. The Press Release List component can display multiple Press Releases three ways:

1. List Default – Displays Press Releases in a row with image, title, & date

2. List Full Width – Displays Press Releases stacked with image, title, decription, & CTA link

3. List Icon Only – Displays Press Releases stacked with generic icon, title, & date

Create a Press Release List

NOTE: To display a press Release list, you need to have the following:
• Several Press Releases Pages already created
• Press Releases are organized under a Press Release Folder

1. Navigate to the Press Release Folder from Content > Agency Name Here > Content modules > Press Release Folder from the Content Tree.

2. Right-click on the Press Release Folder item.

3. Insert the Press Release List option.

4. Name the Press Release List title.

5. Enter the name of the Press Release list.

6. Navigate the content tree to the Press Release Folder you want to show in the list and double-click it to display in the ‘Selected’ box.
a. Only one Press Release folder can be selected at this time.

7. Select the link for the ‘View All’ text
a. Select the ‘Insert link’ to link to a page inside of Sitecore.

8. Enter the link title in the ‘Description’ field.

9. Select the Insert button.

10. Select the Save Save icon icon (top left in the Content Editor Ribbon).

11. Publish if no further changes need made.

Insert the Press Release on the Page

1. From the Experience Editor, insert a sublayout on the page.

2. Select the sublayout container you want to insert the Press Release List component into.

3. Select the ‘Press Release’ tab and select the Press Releases component.

4. Select the Select the Press Release List you want to insert.

5. Select OK.

6. Select the Save Save icon icon (top left in the Experience Editor Ribbon).

Change the Press Release List View

1. From the Experience Editor, select the Press Release List component on the page.

2. Select the More link and then the ‘Edit component properties’ option from the dropdown in the Press Releases toolbar.

3. Select the checkbox of the view you wish to use.
a. List Default – Displays Press Releases in a row with image, title, & date
i. Best used in a large-size container, like Full-Width or 9-3sublayout
b. List Full Width – Displays Press Releases stacked with image, title, decription, & CTA link
i. Best used in a large-size container, like Full-Width or 9-3sublayout
c. List Icon Only – Displays Press Releases stacked with generic icon, title, & date
i. Best used in a small-size container, like the RightRail or a 3sublayout
d. Hide Date – Hides the date on all Press Releases when selected

4. Enter the number of Press Releases you want to display in the component.
a. The most recent date Press Releases will display
b. If no number entered, then all will display.

5. Select OK.

6. Select the Save Save icon icon (top left in the Experience Editor Ribbon).
