Why don’t State of Connecticut insurance mandates apply to my health benefits plan?
In Connecticut, rules about health insurance are usually for health plans from businesses or groups based here. These rules may not apply to the plan you’re enrolled in if:
- It isn’t from Connecticut,
- You’re on Medicare, or
- You're in a self-funded group plan through work
