Gov. Malloy: Advanced Anti-Fraud Technology Could Save Taxpayers Nearly $170 Million
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Connecticut taxpayers could save nearly $170 million over this biennium under a new initiative designed to identify and stop fraud in state programs, including the Medical Assistance program.

Gov. Malloy Statement on November Labor Report
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today issued the following statement regarding the release of the Connecticut Department of Labor's "Labor Situation" report for the month of November 2013. The monthly report announced that Connecticut's unemployment rate decreased for the third consecutive month to 7.6 percent.

Friday: Gov. Malloy Visits Bricklayers Apprenticeship Site in Wallingford
On Friday at afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit an apprenticeship program in Wallingford, where a group of apprentices are receiving on-the-job training with related classroom instruction in the areas of bricklaying, cement mason and tile trades.

Gov. Malloy's Sandy Hook Advisory Commission to Meet Friday, Discuss Law Enforcement Response and State's Attorney Report

Gov. Malloy: Economic, Scientific Collaboration With Israel Will Strengthen Conneticut's Global Competitiveness
Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced today at the MetroHartford Alliance's "Rising Star Breakfast" that the state Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the Israel Tech Transfer Organization (ITTN) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the first step in laying the foundation for better and more productive economic and research collaborations between Connecticut and Israeli businesses, research institutions and universities.
