THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY RECEIVES UPDATE ON TURNAROUND PROGRESS AT NEW BRITAIN'S DILORETO SCHOOL
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday at noon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit Frank J. DiLoreto School in New Britain, where he will meet with teachers, faculty, parents and students to discuss progress that has been made during the school's first three months in the Commissioner's Network. The visit will begin with a roundtable discussion and will be followed by a tour.
The Commissioner's Network is a state program that aims to turnaround some of the lowest performing schools in order to help students receive a quality education and close the achievement gap.
