The Connecticut Immunization Information System (CT WiZ) helps ensure patients and providers have complete, consolidated records, which is especially helpful when patients see more than one healthcare provider over their lifespan and when they were vaccinated across state lines. It shows which vaccines patients received, and it helps healthcare providers know which vaccines are needed. The public can securely access their official immunization records through the CT WiZ Public Portal they may need for childcare, school, camp, work, travel, or if they move out of Connecticut.
- CT WiZ began collecting records for young children statewide in 1998.
- CT WiZ expanded to collect records for all residents of all ages starting in 2022.
