The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended for use throughout the 2024 holiday season to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.

WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)

Farmers Market Nutrition Program starts June 1st!

  

Eligible WIC families will receive farmers’ market benefits to purchase fresh and unprocessed fruits, vegetables, eggs and cut herbs from authorized markets which participate in WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program runs from June 1st to November 30th

 

Visit a farmers' market or certified farm stand near you and look for an FMNP Certified Farmer to redeem benefits for fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs and cut herbs. Visit www.CTGrown.gov/FarmersMarkets for a list of eligible markets. 

The WIC FMNP is a congressionally authorized program administered by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture (CT DoAG) and jointly funded by the State of Connecticut and the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service (USDA-FNS).
