Monthly birth and death counts for surveillance
This page provides monthly and annual birth and death counts to support public health monitoring and trend analysis. Birth data are available for both Connecticut residents and births that occurred in Connecticut. Data from 2016–2024 are final, while data from 2025–2026 are provisional and may change as additional records are received and processed. Death counts for 2025–2026 are also provisional and will be updated as more information becomes available. Separate tables are provided for Connecticut residents and for events that occurred within the state.
