The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 42 Oxford/Beacon Falls from Route 67 (Oxford Road) to South Main Street (852).

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.87 mile of Route 67 Oxford/Beacon Falls. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, July 18, 2022 and be completed Wednesday, July 27, 2022. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, August 1, 2022 and be completed on Friday, August 12, 2022.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
