Unlicensed Debt Negotiator Documentation
Submit the following information with your complaint if you have been working with a foreclosure rescue company or a law firm in Connecticut or out-of-state law firm with an attorney(s) who is not admitted to practice law in Connecticut:
- A copy of the signed agreement with the company and copies of any emails and/or letters that you received.
- Proof of your payments to the company. For example, copies of both sides of cancelled checks and/or bank statements showing withdrawals/payments to the company.
- A brief letter explaining what the foreclosure rescue company or out-of-state law firm promised you in exchange for the money you paid them.
