Foreign Bank Representative Office

On October 18, 2023, MUFG Bank, Ltd., a foreign banking organization headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, filed an application for a license to establish a representative office to be located at 83 Wooster Heights Road, Danbury, CT 06810 pursuant to Section 36a-428g of the Connecticut General Statutes. 

CONSUMER CREDIT DIVISION ACTIVITY 

Consent Order

On October 16, 2023, the Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with Go Mortgage, LLC (NMLS # 1018) (“Go Mortgage”), Columbus, Ohio. The Commissioner alleged that Go Mortgage failed to file with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry a change of address of its branch office at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to such change and failed to provide a bond rider or endorsement, or addendum, as applicable, to the surety bond on file with the Commissioner, in violation of Section 36a-490(b)(2) of the Connecticut General Statutes. As part of the Consent Order, Go Mortgage paid $500 as a civil penalty.
