BANK ACTIVITY

Interstate Loan Production Office

On March 10, 2022, the Commissioner approved the application of Evolve Bank, an Arkansas-chartered bank, to establish a loan production office in Connecticut pursuant to Section 36a-412(d) of the Connecticut General Statutes. The office will be located at 320 Boston Post Road in Darien, Connecticut. 

  
CREDIT UNION ACTIVITY

Merger

On March 8, 2022, Scient Federal Credit Union ("Scient Federal"), a federal credit union, and New London Municipal Employees’ Credit Union ("New London Municipal Employees"), a Connecticut credit union, filed an application pursuant to Section 36a-468a of the Connecticut General Statutes seeking approval for the merger of New London Municipal Employees with and into Scient Federal, with the resulting credit union to operate as a federal credit union.
