CONSUMER CREDIT DIVISION ACTIVITY
Consent Order
On June 20, 2019, the Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with FEDChex Recovery, LLC d/b/a FCR Collection Services (“FEDChex”) (NMLS # 1126700), Foothill Ranch, California. The Consent Order was based on an investigation by the Consumer Credit Division. As a result of such investigation, the Commissioner alleged that at least in the month of September 2017, FEDChex used an unauthorized fictitious name, FCR Collection Services, in violation of Section 36a-801(i) of the Connecticut General Statutes. As part of the Consent Order, FEDChex paid $2,500 as a civil penalty.
