BRANCH ACTIVITY
State Bank Activity
Section 36a-145 of the Connecticut General Statutes requires that each application for a branch, or for a limited branch at which loans will be made, be accompanied by a plan detailing how adequate services to meet the banking needs of all community residents will be provided. Plans are submitted when such applications are filed and are available for public inspection and comment at this Department for a period of 30 days. Questions concerning branch activity should be directed to the Financial Institutions Division, (860) 240-8180.

CREDIT UNION ACTIVITY
On March 15, 2005, pursuant to Section 36a-437a of the Connecticut General Statutes, CenConn Credit Union, Inc., Meriden, Connecticut, requested approval to amend its bylaws and Certificate of Incorporation to change its name to Achieve Financial Credit Union, Inc.
On March 28, 2005, pursuant to section 36a-468b of the Connecticut General Statutes, Constitution State Corporate Credit Union, Inc., Wallingford, Connecticut filed an application to convert from a Connecticut credit union into a federal credit union.
On March 28, 2005, pursuant to Section 36a-462b(d) of the Connecticut General Statutes, Corporate America Family Credit Union, Elgin, Illinois, filed a request for approval to expand its field of membership in the State of Connecticut to include employees of A Place to Grow, Terryville, Connecticut, and employees of Summit Crane Company, Inc., Terryville, Connecticut.
On March 31, 2005, pursuant to Section 36a-463b of the Connecticut General Statutes, approval was granted to State Police Employees Credit Union, Inc. to relocate its main office from 294 Colony Street, Meriden, Connecticut, to 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, Connecticut.
CHECK CASHING SERVICE LICENSE ACTIVITY
On March 30, 2005, Connecticut State Check Cashing Service, Inc. surrendered its license to operate a check cashing service general facility at 298 Main Street, New Britain, Connecticut.
