CONSUMER CREDIT DIVISION ACTIVITY

On February 10, 2003, the Commissioner issued a Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order against Gibson Trust, Inc., located at 4081 North Federal Highway, Suite 110A, Pompano Beach, Florida, which ordered Gibson Trust, Inc. to cease and desist from violating Section 36a-656 of the Connecticut General Statutes and imposed a civil penalty of $7500. The agency's action was based on the fact that the respondent engaged in the business of debt adjustment without a license.
