Branch Activity

Section 36a-145 of the Connecticut General Statutes requires that each application for a branch, or for a limited branch at which loans will be made, be accompanied by a plan detailing how adequate services to meet the banking needs of all community residents will be provided. Plans are submitted when such applications are filed and are available for public inspection and comment at this Department for a period of 30 days. NAME CHANGE

Effective October 17, 1998, Branford Savings Bank changed its name to Superior Savings of New England. It was erroneously reported that the effective date was October 19, 1998.

SECTION 36a-425 APPLICATION

On October 26, 1998, an application was filed by Old Kent Financial Corporation, a Michigan corporation, to establish an office of its subsidiary, Old Kent Mortgage Company, a Michigan corporation, at 24 Old Kings Highway South, Darien, Connecticut.

TRUST POWERS
